Digital X-Rays
Direct Digital X-Ray Radiography (DDR) technology offers rapid and high-quality imaging for the diagnosis and treatment of animal health issues. Unlike traditional film-based radiography, DDR captures images directly on a digital detector, allowing for immediate (less than 2 seconds) viewing and analysis. This enhances diagnostic accuracy and reduces the time needed to initiate treatment, and timing under sedation/GA. Additionally, DDR systems offer better image clarity and can be easily shared and stored electronically, facilitating better communication among veterinary professionals and improving overall patient care.
New software is set up according to the species and body weight of the patient, reducing radiation exposure. Orthopaedic programs, such as VPop, are integrated into the system, allowing accurate measurements in images and precise planning for orthopaedic surgery.
